“Through humor, you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it.” (b. cosby)
“Sometimes giving in is not giving up. It is just keeping your side of the street clean.” (a.e.t.)
“I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?” (psalm 56:11)
Grateful this day for the wit and wisdom of others!
I couldn’t agree more! Sorry I haven’t been by Bridges lately for a visit!
Good to read you Blair… the bridge is always open for you… whenever you are able to travel over. 🙂
Great quotes! I especially love the Cosby quote.
can you believe stupidity? absolutely no boundaries!!! one place i have to be on the alert is not to take stupidity “personally”. it is so easy for me to make everything “all about me”, and take all of life “to heart”. most of what i THINK i’m seeing with my eyes isn’t actually what is happening.
😉
i love you HUGE BUNCHES!!!
Love this post!
Hope you’re doing better 😦
I know it’s gonna be a hard
road but you will never walk it
alone…You will always have
us to walk that walk with you…
LOVE AND HUGS!!!!!!

That is a great quote, isn’t it Jarred.
I hear ya annie… that is why one of the most powerful of the “Four Agreements” is in fact “don’t take anything personally.” When people lash out at us, often times it is much more about them and their side of the street. There is also the important reminder in that quote above about personal responsibility and keeping my own side of the street clean.
and thank you Laurie!
Loves and hugs to all!
