I don’t really get in up to my armpits in all the mayhem of political stuff, but has anyone else found it curious all of the comparisons back and forth between the republican VICE presidential candidate Palin and the democratic presidential candidate Obama? One would think that you would want to compare yourself across the line with the actual office you were running for.
What it is about campaigns that bring out the worst in people anyway? And why is it that people running for public office “hide” things (like this post by Lewis details) that everyone knows are going to come out as soon as the spotlight hits them?
Yesterday I received this below comparison chart in an email from my ex-husband (who doesn’t believe that democrats or lesbians are worthy human beings–so he sends me a lot of religious and political emails–as if his opinions will make me “wake up” and say “why didn’t I see it that way?!”). So much of it is just laughable, other parts of it are childish and sad. This isn’t all of it, apparently it originated at this website.

I kept looking at her, the hubby, and the kids and thinking that they all looked like fish out of water…really didn’t know what to do. They lookedlike they were in church or something. I think they are way out of their family’s element. And we all KNOW what is going on with the kid being pregnant…..face it, deal with it, talk about it. Remove the stigma!
She isn’t much older than us! DAMN!
She still looks like a psychotic piece of crazy to
me. Sorry, I ain’t voting for McCain.
HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She looks like a churchie on the surface but deep down underneath she is a raging BSDM sex fiend with a riding crop!
Lewis: Yes, out of their element for sure! I think the whole family would be in for a huge culture shock should McCain win! Think about the life of that 4 month old baby… so many unanswered questions, so many loose ends. Facing it and talking about it would be a good start! I really feel for those kids!
Laurie: As always, you put it just so… and sum it up with humor! There is something odd about her eyes. I always study the eyes… odd… {HUGS}!!
April: Very funny! And you know what, experience tells me that you are probably not too far off on that!
